In 2008, it was acquired by Arques Industries, which later rebranded the company as Gigaset Communications. In 2024, VTech Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong-based company known for electronic learning products and telecommunication devices, acquired Gigaset Communications. Manufacturing of Gigaset products, including cordless phones, is based in Bocholt, Germany, ensuring high-quality production under the 'Made in Germany' quality seal. This manufacturing process emphasizes long-lasting quality, environmentally friendly production, and social responsibility. Gigaset's cordless phones are designed and produced in Germany, making it the only European company to manufacture such products domestically.
