Stratos sjokolade

Stratos is a Norwegian chocolate brand known for its light and airy texture, which melts in the mouth. Launched in 1936 by Nidar, a Trondheim-based confectionery company, Stratos was a technological innovation in chocolate making, introducing a new way to create porous chocolate. The name 'Stratos' is derived from the stratosphere, reflecting the lightness of the chocolate. In 2014, Nidar became part of the Orkla Group, a leading supplier of branded consumer goods in the Nordic region and selected markets in Central Europe and India. Today, Stratos continues to be produced in Norway under the ownership of Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Norge AS, a subsidiary of the Orkla Group.
