Tuborg Green Beer

Tuborg Green is an iconic international pilsner beer originally established in Copenhagen, Denmark. Founded by Carl Frederik Tietgen in 1873, the Tuborg brewery quickly became a major player in the Danish beer market, known for its innovation, including being the first to sell bottled beer in Denmark.

In 1970, Tuborg merged with United Breweries, which included its rival Carlsberg. Today, the brand is part of the global portfolio of the Carlsberg Group. While it maintains its strong Danish identity and heritage—emphasized by its status as a provider to the Royal Danish Court—Tuborg Green is produced in over 70 countries worldwide through Carlsberg's extensive network of breweries and license agreements to meet global demand.
