Libresse is a Swedish brand specializing in feminine hygiene products, including sanitary pads, liners, and intimate washes. Founded in the 1940s, Libresse has grown into a global brand, operating under various names in different markets, such as Bodyform, Nana, Nuvenia, Saba, Nosotras, and Libra. In November 2025, Essity, a Swedish health and hygiene company, acquired Libresse. Essity was founded in 1929 by Ivar Kreuger as a paper packaging company and now operates in approximately 150 countries, offering a wide range of health and hygiene products. Libresse's products are manufactured in multiple countries, including Slovakia, where some sanitary pads are produced. The brand is known for its innovative designs and commitment to women's health, offering products that provide protection across various flows, fits, and needs.
