Cibicom A/S is an independent network operator and Internet Service Provider (ISP) based in Denmark. Established in 1925, the company owns and operates a nationwide network of radio and TV broadcast towers, some reaching up to 300 meters in height. These towers are utilized for the distribution of television (DTT) and radio (AM/FM/DAB+), Internet-of-Things (IoT) infrastructure, and critical communication services for emergency response and industry sectors. Cibicom has developed a redundant, fiber-based IP backbone and access network spanning 3,500 kilometers, connecting data centers, nodes, and other network operators. The company provides essential communication solutions to entities such as the Danish Coastal Radio, the Danish Armed Forces, and infrastructure services to telecom operators. In November 2018, Cibicom was acquired by Agilitas Private Equity LLP, a European private equity firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. Following the acquisition, the company rebranded from Teracom A/S to Cibicom A/S in January 2019. Cibicom has expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of Swedish Relacom's Danish operations in 2019, now known as Cibicom Services A/S, and Norwegian ICE Group's Danish activities in 2020, now operating as Cibicom Mobility ApS. Additionally, Cibicom specializes in indoor mobile solutions via its subsidiary Telpartner. The name 'Cibicom' is an abbreviation of 'Critical Infrastructure for Broadcasting, IoT, and Communication.'
