Lotus is a brand of toilet paper and other hygiene products that originated in France in 1967 under the company Béghin-Say. The brand has since expanded its product range to include tissues, paper towels, and other hygiene items. In 2017, the brand became part of Essity, a Swedish company specializing in hygiene and health products, following the split of Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA). Today, Lotus products are manufactured in multiple countries, including Sweden and Belgium, and are available in various forms such as 3-ply and 4-ply toilet paper, as well as moist toilet paper with added aloe vera for sensitive skin. The brand emphasizes environmental responsibility, with products being FSC-certified and packaged in CO2-reduced, recyclable materials.
