Jolt Cola

Jolt Cola is a high-caffeine carbonated soft drink introduced in 1985 by The Jolt Company, Inc., based in Rochester, New York. Initially marketed with the slogan 'All the sugar and twice the caffeine!', it targeted students and young professionals seeking an energy boost. In 2006, the brand rebranded as Jolt Energy, expanding its product line to include various flavors and caffeinated gums. However, in 2009, Wet Planet Beverages, the successor to The Jolt Company, Inc., filed for bankruptcy, leading to the cessation of Jolt Cola production. In 2017, ECC Jolt, LLC, a Manhattan-based company, revived the brand, reintroducing Jolt Cola to the market. The beverage is now manufactured under license in multiple countries, including Australia, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Finland, with the German and Swedish suppliers using the original branding and formulation. In the United States, Jolt Cola is produced by ECC Jolt, LLC, headquartered in Manhattan, New York.
