Raffaello is a spherical coconut–almond truffle introduced by Italian manufacturer Ferrero in 1990. It consists of a spherical wafer filled with white milk cream and white blanched almonds, all encased in a coconut layer. Notably, it does not contain chocolate. Manufacturing facilities for Raffaello are located in Vladimir, Russia; Brantford, Canada; and Arlon, Belgium. Russia is Ferrero's largest market for Raffaello. The brand is owned by Ferrero SpA, an Italian multinational confectionery company founded in 1946, which has grown into one of the world's largest sweet-packaged food companies, with brands sold in more than 170 countries. The company is headquartered in Italy, and there are no known subsidiaries that own the brand locally.
