Purito is a South Korean skincare brand founded in 2017 by High Nature Co., Ltd., a company known for its commitment to vegan and eco-friendly products. The name 'Purito' is derived from the Korean word '정화' (Jeonghwa), meaning 'purification,' and the Chinese character '土' (To), symbolizing 'Earth or Soil,' reflecting the brand's dedication to sourcing pure ingredients from diverse regions of Korea and its deep-rooted connection to the planet. The brand emphasizes using natural, high-quality ingredients and sustainable practices, avoiding harmful chemicals and animal testing. In December 2022, Corstone Asia acquired HINATURE Inc., the parent company of Purito, for KRW 37.3 billion, making it the ultimate owner of the brand as of 2026. Purito's products are primarily manufactured in South Korea, with some production in other locations, and are sold in over 60 countries worldwide, including the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Australia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.
