Royal Copenhagen, established in 1775 under the patronage of Danish Dowager Queen Juliane Marie, is renowned for its high-quality porcelain dinnerware. The brand's signature three wavy lines symbolize Denmark's three waterways: Storebælt, Lillebælt, and Øresund. Initially, Royal Copenhagen produced porcelain exclusively in Denmark, but in 2012, the company was acquired by Fiskars Group, a Finnish listed company specializing in design and consumer goods. Following the acquisition, production was moved to Thailand, although some products, such as the luxury 'Flora Danica' collection, continue to be designed and painted in Denmark. Fiskars Group, founded in 1649, is headquartered in Finland and owns several other notable brands. Royal Copenhagen's porcelain dinnerware is celebrated for its timeless design and exceptional craftsmanship, maintaining a strong presence in the global market.
