Le Mesnil Champagne Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a premium sparkling wine produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes sourced from the Grand Cru vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a village renowned for its exceptional terroir in the Côtes des Blancs region of Champagne, France. The wine is crafted by the Le Mesnil-sur-Oger Co-operative, established in 1937, which is now owned by the Union des Propriétaires-Récoltants, a co-operative of Champagne producers in the region. The wine is known for its delicate mousse, fine bubbles, and complex flavors, including notes of fresh green apple, citrus, bread dough, and pastry. It is aged for at least three years on the lees, contributing to its depth and elegance. The Union des Propriétaires-Récoltants collectively owns around 754 acres of vineyard, with winemaker Gilles Margue at the helm, ensuring the production of high-quality Champagne that reflects the unique characteristics of the Le Mesnil-sur-Oger terroir.
