Staatl. Fachingen is one of Germany's most famous premium mineral water brands, originating from the Fachingen spring in the Lahn valley. Known for its naturally high hydrogen carbonate content and distinctive faceted glass bottle, it has been bottled since 1742. Historically, the spring was owned by the state (hence 'Staatlich'), but it has since transitioned to private ownership.

Today, the brand is owned and operated by Fachingen Heil- und Mineralbrunnen GmbH. Since 2011, the majority of the company has been part of the Bitburger Holding, a major German family-owned enterprise. The water is bottled directly at the source in Fachingen, Rhineland-Palatinate, ensuring local production and maintaining the brand's heritage as a traditional German medicinal and mineral water brand.
