Egils Appelsín Orange Soda

Egils Appelsín is a fizzy orange-flavored soft drink produced by the Egill Skallagrímsson Brewery in Iceland since 1955. The brand is renowned for its slogan 'hið eina sanna,' meaning 'the one and only.' During Christmas, it's traditionally mixed with Malt (malt extract) to create a festive beverage known as Jólaöl (Christmas ale). In 2000, the brewery was acquired by the Carlsberg Group, a Danish multinational brewing company headquartered in Denmark. Despite the acquisition, Egils Appelsín continues to be produced in Iceland, maintaining its status as a beloved national beverage.
