Grippo's Bar-B-Q Potato Chips

Grippo's is a privately held American snack food company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 1919 by Angelo Grippo, the company initially produced rolled sugar cones and later expanded into traditional hand-twisted pretzels. In 1930, Grippo invented the "loop pretzel," a simplified shape designed to be more resistant to breakage. By 1959, the company added potato chips to its product line, with varieties including Bar-B-Q, Salt and Vinegar, Cheddar Cheese, and Jalapeno.
