Silversea Cruises

Silversea Cruises is a luxury cruise line founded in 1994 as a joint venture between V-Ships (formerly known as Vlasov Group) of Monaco and the Lefebvre family of Rome, Italy. The company pioneered all-inclusive cruising with its first ship, Silver Cloud. In June 2018, Royal Caribbean Group acquired a 67% controlling stake in Silversea, and in July 2020, it completed the acquisition of the remaining shares, making Silversea a wholly owned subsidiary. Silversea's fleet includes both luxury and expedition ships, serving destinations worldwide. The brand maintains its headquarters in Monaco, with operational offices in Miami, Florida, USA. Under Royal Caribbean Group's ownership, Silversea continues to operate as a distinct brand, offering ultra-luxury cruise experiences globally.
