The Jeep Avenger is a subcompact crossover SUV introduced by Jeep in January 2023, primarily targeting the European market. It is the smallest vehicle offered by Jeep, positioned below the Renegade in the brand's lineup. The Avenger is available in both mild-hybrid and fully electric variants, utilizing the STLA Small platform developed by Stellantis. This platform is shared with other models such as the Peugeot 2008, Opel Mokka, and DS 3 Crossback. The Avenger is produced in multiple countries, including Poland and Brazil, to meet the demand in various markets. The vehicle is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine in the mild-hybrid version, delivering 100 horsepower, and by a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery in the electric version, providing a range of up to 400 km (WLTP). The Avenger is equipped with features like Jeep's 'Selec-Terrain' drive mode, offering Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud, and Sand modes, and Hill Descent Control, enhancing its off-road capabilities. The vehicle's design includes protected full-LED headlights, alloy wheels ranging from 16” to 18”, and skid plates molded in tinted polymeric material for added protection. The Avenger's dimensions are 4,084 mm in length, 1,776 mm in width, and 1,528 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm. It offers a ground clearance of 200 mm, an approach angle of 20 degrees, and a departure angle of 32 degrees, making it suitable for various driving conditions. The Avenger is primarily marketed in Europe, with sales in Turkey, Morocco, Japan, and South Korea also planned. It is not available in the United States, Canada, and China. Deliveries to customers started in early 2023, with Jeep targeting annual production of 110,000 units.
