Tuborg Grøn Beer

Tuborg is one of Denmark's most iconic beverage brands, established in 1873 by Philip Heyman. Originally founded in Hellerup, a suburb of Copenhagen, the brand was initially part of Tuborg Factories (Tuborg Fabrikker). Tuborg Grøn (Green Tuborg), the product shown in the image, is the flagship pilsner that has become a cultural staple in Danish society.

In 1970, Tuborg merged with United Breweries, which included its primary rival, Carlsberg. While the specific manufacturing for Danish retail cans typically occurs at the Carlsberg brewery in Fredericia, Denmark, the brand is produced across several international locations for global markets. Today, the brand remains under the stewardship of the Carlsberg Group, which is headquartered in Copenhagen and stands as one of the world's leading brewery groups.
