Café SATI roasted coffee

Café SATI is a family-owned coffee roasting company established in 1926 in Strasbourg, France. Originally known as Société Alsacienne de Torréfaction et d'Importation de Cafés, the company has been dedicated to roasting high-quality coffee beans sourced from around the world. In 1964, they expanded their operations by acquiring facilities at the Port of the Rhine, including a customs warehouse and a roasting unit, to ensure consistent quality and development. Over the years, Café SATI has maintained a strong commitment to sustainable practices and community engagement. In 2020, they were awarded the PME+ and Alsace Excellence labels, recognizing their ethical and responsible approach. Additionally, since 2019, they have collaborated with the Strasbourg-based association Libre Objet to recycle art materials into tote bags, aligning with their dedication to a sustainable and fair economy. In 2015, Café SATI became part of JDE Peet's, a global coffee and tea company formed by the merger of Jacobs Douwe Egberts and Peet's Coffee & Tea, headquartered in the Netherlands. Despite this acquisition, Café SATI continues to operate with its original values and commitment to quality.
