Today, the elmex brand is owned by the American multinational Colgate-Palmolive, which acquired the GABA Group in 2004. While the brand has Swiss origins and maintains high Swiss quality standards, manufacturing for the European market is now primarily centered in Poland (specifically in Świdnica) at one of Colgate-Palmolive's largest and most advanced production facilities.
