Shakira Elixir is a women's fragrance launched in 2012 by Colombian singer Shakira in collaboration with Spanish perfume company Puig. The scent belongs to the amber olfactive family, featuring top notes of neroli, white pepper, and white flower; heart notes of freesia, paeonia, and apricot; and base notes of amber, benzoin, musk, sugar cane, and white cedar wood. The bottle design is inspired by historic apothecary vessels, made of clear molded glass with a slender gold-tinted neck. The packaging, designed by Colombian artist Catalina Estrada, showcases colorful illustrations of birds and leaves on a pale background. Elixir was initially available exclusively in American department stores Kohl's and Sears, later expanding to mass-market retailers like CVS Caremark and Walgreens. The fragrance was also released in Eastern Europe, Italy, and Latin America, targeting a younger demographic. It was offered as an eau de toilette, with prices ranging from US $17.50 to US $36, depending on the size.
