Thise Mejeri

Thise Mejeri is a Danish organic cooperative dairy established in 1988, comprising 72 members who produce a diverse range of organic dairy products, including milk, butter, and cheese. The cooperative is Denmark's second-largest organic dairy cooperative and is known for its commitment to organic farming and sustainable practices. Thise Mejeri sources milk from local farmers, ensuring full traceability of its products. The cooperative's products are primarily sold in Denmark, with exports to countries such as Germany, Sweden, England, the United States, and China. In 2023, Thise Mejeri expanded its product line by introducing plant-based products under the brand name Thise Planteri, developed in collaboration with the Aarhus-based design agency Begejst. The cooperative has also worked with design agencies to enhance its brand identity and product offerings. Thise Mejeri's dedication to quality and sustainability has made it a prominent player in the Danish dairy industry, with a strong focus on animal welfare and environmental responsibility.
