Ben's Original rice

Ben's Original, formerly known as Uncle Ben's, is a brand of parboiled rice and related food products. The brand was introduced in the 1940s by Converted Rice Inc., a company co-founded by Forrest E. Mars Sr. and Gordon L. Harwell. In 1964, Converted Rice Inc. became a subsidiary of Mars, Inc., a global manufacturer of confectionery, pet care, and food products. In 2020, Mars Food announced a rebranding of Uncle Ben's to Ben's Original, removing the previous logo and name to create a more inclusive brand image. The new packaging began appearing in stores in 2021. Ben's Original products are manufactured in multiple countries, including the United States, and are available worldwide.
