Hestra gloves

Hestra is a world-renowned Swedish glove brand founded in 1936 by Martin Magnusson in the small village of Hestra, Småland. Originally, the brand produced durable gloves for local lumberjacks, but quickly expanded into ski gloves as skiing became popular in the region.

Today, Hestra remains a family-owned business, managed by the third and fourth generations of the Magnusson family. While the design and development still take place at the headquarters in Sweden, manufacturing is distributed across their own factories in Hungary, Vietnam, and China, as well as partners in Cambodia. They are particularly famous for their high-quality leather work and specialized technical outdoor gear.
