Hero Rösti Original is a frozen potato product produced by Hero Group, a Swiss company established in 1886. The Hero brand was created by combining the first two letters of the founders' last names, Henckell and Roth. In 1995, the Oetker Group, a German multinational company, acquired a majority stake in Hero Group, and by 2003, it became the sole owner. The Oetker Group is headquartered in Germany and is renowned for its diverse portfolio of food and beverage brands.
