Zoégas Coffee

Zoégas is a Swedish coffee brand founded in 1886 by Carlos and Maria Zoéga in Helsingborg, Sweden. The brand is renowned for its dark roasted coffee blends, with a particular emphasis on beans from East Africa, especially Kenya, known for their vibrant, berry-like notes. Over the years, Zoégas has expanded its product range to include various blends, such as the classic 'Skånerost', catering to Swedish taste preferences. In 1986, Zoégas was acquired by the Swedish food company Findus, and in 1999, it became part of Nestlé S.A., a Swiss multinational food and beverage company headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. Today, Zoégas continues to operate as a subsidiary of Nestlé, maintaining its commitment to high-quality coffee production in Helsingborg, Sweden. The brand also emphasizes sustainability, participating in the Rainforest Alliance certification program to ensure ethically sourced coffee beans.
