The company gained prominence with models like the Puch Maxi moped and Puch 500 city car. In 2011, Austrian entrepreneur Josef Faber took control of the brand, and in 2012, Puch bicycles were manufactured by Cycleurope in France. Today, Puch operates as a subsidiary of Cycleurope, a Swedish company specializing in bicycle design and manufacturing.
