Melleruds Utmärkta Pilsner is a heritage-inspired Swedish beer brand today produced by Spendrups Bryggeri, one of Sweden's leading independent breweries. The brand's history traces back to the original Melleruds Bryggeri founded in 1904 in Mellerud, Dalsland. After the original brewery ceased operations and was eventually destroyed by fire in the 1950s, the brand lay dormant for over six decades.

In 2012, Spendrups revived the brand under the guidance of brewmaster Richard Bengtsson, focusing on a traditional organic pilsner recipe that honors the original brewery's legacy. It is currently brewed at Spendrups' facilities in Sweden, primarily in Grängesberg. The brand is positioned as a classic, high-quality organic pilsner that bridges historical Swedish brewing traditions with modern organic standards, making it a staple in both Swedish retail and fine dining sectors.
