Arvid Nordquist is a prestigious Swedish brand with a history dating back to 1884, when it started as a delicatessen in Stockholm. Today, it is best known for its high-quality coffee, although the company also operates as a distributor for various international food and beverage brands.

The brand's coffee is primarily manufactured in Sweden. Since 1961, the company has operated its own roasting facility; while it was long located in Solna, the company recently moved production to a state-of-the-art, fossil-free roastery in Järfälla, just outside Stockholm. Arvid Nordquist is notably committed to sustainability, using 100% Arabica beans that are certified by Fairtrade or Rainforest Alliance and roasting them using 100% renewable energy.

Ownership of the brand remains entirely within the founding family. As of 2026, the company is into its fourth generation of family leadership, maintaining its status as an independent, family-owned business headquartered in Solna, Sweden.
