Faxe Kondi Booster — origin, manufacturing and ownership

Faxe Kondi Booster (commonly called "Booster drik" in Danish) is an energy-drink extension of the long-standing Danish soft-drink brand Faxe Kondi. The Booster variant was introduced in the 2010s to offer an energy-focused product with the familiar lemon–lime profile of Faxe Kondi combined with added caffeine, vitamins and dextrose.

Manufacturing and distribution

The product is manufactured primarily in Denmark through facilities operated by Faxe Bryggeri / Royal Unibrew. To serve export markets and meet regional supply needs, packaging and co-packing can occur in other countries, so production may also take place outside Denmark depending on market and logistics.

Brand origin and ownership

Faxe Kondi was created in Denmark (first launched in 1971 by Faxe Bryggeri). The Booster energy variant builds on that heritage. The original company behind the brand was Faxe Bryggeri; today the brand and its product lines are owned and managed by Royal Unibrew A/S, a Danish beverage group headquartered in Faxe, Denmark. Royal Unibrew handles brand strategy, manufacturing oversight and international distribution, while Faxe Bryggeri operates as the producing brewery/brand unit within the group.

Product notes

Common Booster SKUs include Booster Original and sugar-free (Black/Zero) variants and various limited-edition flavours. Typical caffeine levels are approximately 32 mg/100 ml (about 160 mg per 500 ml can) — always check the product label in your market for the exact formulation and nutritional information.
