Pudliszki — origin, manufacturing and ownership

Pudliszki is a historic Polish food brand founded in 1920 (originally by Stanisław Fenrych) and long associated with tomato‑based products — ketchup, tomato concentrates, sauces — as well as canned vegetables and ready meals. The brand’s production is based in Greater Poland (the Pudliszki/Krobia area) where the main processing plant has historically produced ketchup, sauces, tomato concentrate, sweet corn, green peas and other canned vegetable products.

In 1997 H.J. Heinz acquired a majority stake in Pudliszki; following the 2015 merger of Kraft Foods Group and H.J. Heinz Company, Pudliszki became part of The Kraft Heinz Company’s portfolio. Today the brand is manufactured in Poland (Pudliszki/Krobia and related local plants) and primarily serves the Polish market, with limited exports. Locally the business is operated through the company’s Polish affiliate (H.J. Heinz Polska Sp. z o.o.), while ultimate ownership rests with The Kraft Heinz Company, headquartered in the United States.

This structure means Pudliszki remains a Polish‑born brand made in Poland, but owned and managed as part of a global packaged‑food group headquartered in the U.S.
