Akileïne is the signature footcare brand of Les Laboratoires ASEPTA, a dermo‑cosmetic laboratory founded in 1943. The Akileïne range (trademarked in the 1940s) was developed in Monaco and ASEPTA designs, formulates and manufactures its products in the Principality of Monaco.

Ownership and distribution

Les Laboratoires ASEPTA remains the original and ultimate owner of the Akileïne brand; the company is independent and family-managed. ASEPTA operates subsidiaries and distributors across Europe and beyond (including a Belgian Akileïne S.A. subsidiary) and supplies pharmacies and wholesalers in the Netherlands through regional distributors and pharmacy wholesalers.
