Marabou Aladdin is the classic red gift box of assorted pralines produced under the Marabou brand. The Aladdin box is a long-standing Swedish chocolate assortment (first introduced as a product line in the 1930s) and is widely sold in Sweden and exported through specialty retailers.
Marabou is a Swedish chocolate brand created in the early 20th century (the Marabou brand dates to 1916) and was established by Johan Throne Holst in connection with his Freia business. The Aladdin praline assortment became one of Marabou's iconic boxed-chocolate products and is strongly associated with Swedish holiday and gift-giving traditions.
Today Marabou products, including the Aladdin chocolate box, are primarily produced in Sweden under the company's regional operations. Production and packaging for Marabou assortments are managed by the brand's local business unit (operated by the global owner’s Swedish affiliate), so origin of manufacture is principally Sweden.
The Marabou brand is ultimately owned by Mondelez International, a multinational snacks and confectionery corporation headquartered in the United States. Mondelez operates regional subsidiaries (listed here as Mondelez Sweden) that handle local manufacturing, marketing and distribution of Marabou products in Sweden and nearby markets.
The photographed product is the Marabou Aladdin chocolate box (praline assortment). No barcode was visible in the image. For precise batch-level origin or factory address, check the packaging back label or contact Mondelez Sweden directly, as regional production details and packaging legends may vary by production run.
