AXA Havregryn

AXA Havregryn is a quintessential Swedish breakfast staple, produced from oats grown on Swedish farms. The journey of AXA began in the late 19th century when P. O. Stokkebye established a flour mill in Lödöse, near Gothenburg. In 1910, a new mill in Agnesberg revolutionized Swedish households by introducing steam-prepared oatmeal, which drastically reduced cooking time from an hour to just three minutes.

Today, the brand is owned by the Swedish agricultural cooperative Lantmännen, which is owned by thousands of Swedish farmers. The oats are processed at Lantmännen’s specialized oat mill in Järna, south of Stockholm. The production process is deeply integrated with the 'Klimat & Natur' program, an initiative aimed at developing the farming of the future by reducing climate impact through measures like fossil-free fertilizers and precision farming. The packaging proudly displays the Swedish origin and the cooperative's commitment to sustainable agriculture, ensuring a direct connection from the farmer's field to the consumer's bowl.
