Folksoda is an organic, carbonated beverage produced by Berga Bruk in Sweden. It is uniquely flavored with Schisandra, a berry native to Russia, combined with apple, sour cherry, and lemon juices. The drink is sweetened naturally with apple juice, containing no added sugars. Folksoda gained additional popularity through its feature in the Swedish film 'Hundraettåringen som smet från notan och försvann' (The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared), where the protagonist, Allan Karlsson, offers this distinctive soda to his companions. The film's release in December 2016 coincided with the beverage's market introduction, highlighting its cultural significance in Sweden.
