Skruf Snus

Skruf Snus is a Swedish brand specializing in the production of snus, a moist oral tobacco product. Founded in 2002 by brothers Adam and Jonas Andersson in southern Småland, Sweden, the company aimed to disrupt the traditional Swedish snus market by emphasizing quality and innovation. Skruf launched its first products in 2003, introducing a modern approach to snus consumption. In 2005, Imperial Tobacco acquired a 43.5% stake in Skruf Snus AB, and by July 2008, Imperial Tobacco had acquired the remaining shares, making Skruf Snus a wholly owned subsidiary. Under Imperial Brands' ownership, Skruf Snus has maintained its brand identity while expanding its product offerings, including the introduction of tobacco-free nicotine pouches in 2022. The company's production facility in Sävsjö, Sweden, combines traditional manufacturing techniques with modern sustainability practices, reflecting its commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.
