Zoégas coffee

Zoégas is one of Sweden’s most legendary coffee brands, particularly famous for its dark roasts and deep connection to the city of Helsingborg. Founded in 1886 by Carlos and Maria Zoéga, the brand grew from a small coffee shop into a national staple, defining the Swedish 'fika' culture with blends like the iconic 'Mollbergs Blandning'.

For well over a century, the roasting process has been centered in Helsingborg, where the company maintains specialized facilities to produce its characteristic intense flavors. While the green coffee beans are sourced globally from regions like East Africa and Latin America, the primary craftsmanship and manufacturing remain firmly rooted in Sweden.

Since 1986, Zoégas has been part of the Nestlé portfolio. Despite being owned by a global conglomerate, the brand operates with significant local autonomy to preserve its traditional roasting techniques and cultural identity. It is a key player in the Nordic coffee market, emphasizing sustainability through various global responsibility initiatives.
