In 2004, the brand rights were acquired by Nordmann Unternehmensgruppe, a German conglomerate. Since 2012, Ratsherrn Brauerei GmbH has been brewing Ratsherrn Pilsener in the historic Schanzenhöfe in Hamburg's Sternschanze district. The brewery is known for its commitment to quality and innovation, producing a range of beer specialties, including pilsners, lagers, and seasonal brews. The brand's modern identity emphasizes a slow brewing process, highlighting the laid-back Hamburg mentality.
