Bähncke is a historic Danish brand, founded in 1858 by Wilhelm Bähncke. Originally starting as a mustard manufacturer in Copenhagen, it has grown to become's Denmark's most recognized brand for condiments, particularly known for its mustards and fried onions used in traditional Danish hot dogs.

Technically, the brand is owned by the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla ASA, which acquired it through its Danish division, Orkla Foods Danmark. Production primarily takes place in Denmark, specifically at facilities in Skælskør, ensuring the authentic taste and quality that has defined the brand for over 160 years.
