Masca del Tacco Lu'Li Appassite is a red wine from the Apulia region in southern Italy. The wine is produced using the appassimento technique, where grapes are left to dry on the vine after full maturation, concentrating sugars and acids to create a fuller-bodied wine. The blend includes Lambrusco, Sangiovese, Primitivo, and Montepulciano grapes. The wine is characterized by deep ruby red color and aromas of wild berries, red flowers, aromatic herbs, humus, and eucalyptus. On the palate, it is fruity, well-balanced, and mouth-filling with great persistence. It pairs well with first courses with meat sauce, polenta, grilled meat, buffalo stews, and medium and aged cheeses. The wine has received multiple awards, including gold medals at Mundus Vini, Berliner Wine Trophy, and Asia Wine Trophy, and high ratings from Luca Maroni. The alcohol content ranges from 14% to 14.5%.
