Frisko ice cream

Frisko is Denmark's leading ice cream brand, deeply rooted in the local culture for decades. Originally founded as an independent Danish company in 1946 (Arhus), it eventually became part of the global consumer goods giant Unilever. Frisko is most famous for developing the world-renowned Magnum ice cream bar in Aarhus in the late 1980s.

Starting from 2025, the brand underwent a significant corporate shift as part of Unilever's strategic demerger of its ice cream division. This separate entity, known as The Magnum Ice Cream Company N.V. (TMICC), now manages Frisko alongside other iconic global brands like Wall's, Ben & Jerry's, and Magnum. While the brand is managed under this new multinational structure, it continues to serve as the face of the Heartbrand in the Danish market, with production historically centered in Aarhus and later distributed through regional European manufacturing networks.
