Solera is a premium beer brand from Venezuela, produced by Cervecería Polar, a subsidiary of Empresas Polar. Introduced to the market on June 6, 1955, Solera has undergone several relaunches and packaging changes over the decades. In 1991, it was reintroduced with a 6% alcohol content to diversify the company's product portfolio. The brand experienced growth in the late 1990s, aligning with a shift in consumer preference towards lighter beers. Solera is also available in markets outside Venezuela, including Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao. By 2005, it was the fifth most sold beer in Venezuela, holding 5.3% of the market share.
