Convento de las Claras Tinto Fino is a red wine produced by Bodegas Convento de las Claras, a winery situated in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. The wine is crafted from 100% Tempranillo grapes sourced from vineyards in the western Burgos area, characterized by sedimentary and alluvial soils. The grapes undergo manual harvesting, followed by fermentation and aging in American oak barrels for 22 months. This aging process imparts complex aromas of black fruits, licorice, toast, vanilla, and nuts. On the palate, the wine offers a powerful entry with balanced acidity, leading to a long finish that highlights fruit and spice notes. The wine is typically bottled at 14% alcohol by volume and is recommended to be served at 16°C. It pairs well with red and white meats, game, and blue cheeses. Bodegas Convento de las Claras is dedicated to producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Ribera del Duero region, emphasizing the quality and character of the Tempranillo grape variety.
