Tibber is a Norwegian digital energy management platform founded in 2016 by Edgeir Vårdal Aksnes and Daniel Lindén. The company operates in Norway, Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands, offering consumers real-time analytics on energy usage and integrating with various smart home devices to optimize electricity consumption. In March 2022, Tibber raised $100 million in a Series C funding round led by Summa Equity, with participation from existing investors including Balderton Capital, Eight Roads Ventures, and Schibsted Ventures. In June 2022, Altor Equity Partners acquired a minority stake in Tibber, further supporting its expansion and technological advancements. As of 2022, Tibber reported revenues of €65 million and employed approximately 324 people. The company's headquarters are located in Førde, Norway.
