Candy is a historic Italian brand of domestic appliances, famously known for launching the first all-Italian washing machine in 1945. Founded by the Fumagalli family in Monza, Italy, the brand grew into the Candy Group, acquiring several other major European brands over the decades.

In 2019, the brand underwent a significant ownership shift when it was acquired by the Chinese multinational Haier Smart Home. Today, while the brand retains its Italian design heritage and its headquarters remains in Brugherio, Italy, manufacturing is spread across multiple global locations including facilities in China, Turkey, and various European countries to serve international markets.
