Doppio Passo Primitivo is a red wine produced by Casa Vinicola Botter Carlo & C. S.p.A., an Italian winery founded in 1928 by Carlo and Maria Botter. The winery is renowned for its Primitivo wines, which are made from 100% Primitivo grapes harvested at two different times to achieve a soft, round, and exceptionally full-bodied wine. The Primitivo grape variety thrives in the warm and temperate climate of Apulia, benefiting from significant rainfall and long hours of sunshine. The wine is characterized by deep ruby red color and aromas of blackberries, cherries, and forest fruits. It pairs well with red meat, mature cheeses, and hearty pastas. The winery is headquartered in Fossalta di Piave, Italy, and continues to be owned by the Botter family, with no known subsidiaries managing the brand locally.
