Cuétara Napolitanas are iconic cinnamon-flavored biscuits that are a staple in the Spanish market. The brand was originally founded in 1935 in Mexico City by the brothers Juan and Florencio Gómez Cuétara before they expanded the business to Spain in 1946. Today, the product is primarily manufactured in Villarejo de Salvanés, Madrid, Spain.

Over the decades, the brand's ownership has evolved through several major food groups. It was part of the SOS Group (now Deoleo) until 2008, when it was acquired by Nutrexpa. Following a corporate split of Nutrexpa in 2015, the biscuit division—including Cuétara and other famous brands like Artiach—became part of Adam Foods, which remains the ultimate owner today.
