The Piaggio MP3 is a tilting three-wheeled scooter produced by the Italian manufacturer Piaggio. First introduced in 2006, it features two front wheels and a single rear wheel, offering enhanced stability and safety compared to traditional two-wheeled scooters. The MP3 is available in various engine capacities, including 125cc, 250cc, 300cc, 400cc, and 500cc, catering to different rider preferences and requirements. In addition to its conventional petrol engine models, Piaggio launched a plug-in hybrid version in 2009, combining a petrol engine with an electric motor for improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. This hybrid variant was discontinued in 2017. The MP3 is assembled primarily in Pontedera, Italy, with production also taking place in other locations to meet global demand. Piaggio & C. SpA, the company behind the MP3, is headquartered in Italy and is renowned for its innovative designs and contributions to the scooter and motorcycle industry.
