Lois Jeans was established in 1962 in Valencia, Spain, by the Sáez Merino brothers. It quickly became the first European denim brand to achieve global recognition, especially during the 1970s and 1980s, when it was favored by influential figures like ABBA and Björn Borg. The brand is renowned for its stylish and comfortable denim jeans, which revolutionized women's fashion by introducing new cuts that combined sexiness and comfort. After facing financial difficulties in the 1990s, Lois Jeans ceased production. However, in 2008, the Spanish company SIX VALVES acquired the license and began marketing the brand with new designs. Today, Lois Jeans continues to produce its garments primarily in Spain, with some production also taking place in Portugal, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and maintaining its Spanish heritage.
