Prince is a renowned brand of sandwich biscuits, particularly famous in Europe. The brand was originally created by the Belgian biscuit company LU (Lefèvre-Utile). These biscuits are traditionally made of a cocoa or chocolate-flavored cream filling sandwiched between two golden biscuits, often featuring the iconic 'Prince' character on the packaging.
While the brand has deep Belgian and French roots, it has seen multiple ownership changes over the decades. LU, the original company, was acquired by Danone and later sold to Kraft Foods. Today, Prince is a flagship brand under the global snacking giant Mondelez International. Manufacturing takes place across several European facilities to serve various regional markets, primarily in France, Belgium, and Spain.
