Haglöfs is a Swedish outdoor performance brand founded in 1914 by Wiktor Haglöf. Initially focusing on durable backpacks for loggers, the company has since expanded its product range to include outdoor clothing, footwear, backpacks, and accessories. Haglöfs operates in 28 markets through wholesale, e-commerce, and 12 own stores. The company collaborates with over 90 material suppliers and manufacturers across 17 countries. In 2022, Haglöfs reported sales of SEK 976 million and employed 238 people worldwide, with 190 based in Sweden. In July 2010, Haglöfs became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese sportswear brand Asics, which acquired the company for $128.7 million. In December 2023, LionRock Capital Limited, a Hong Kong-based investment firm, acquired a 100% interest in Haglöfs from Asics, marking a new chapter in the brand's ownership.
